A cutout profile of our Museum building is the design inspiration for our inaugural Museum bookmark, made exclusively for us in the U.S.A.
Museum architect Rafael Vinoly's vision for the building was to evoke the weighted choices and sacrifices each Medal recipient boldly bears during combat, as well as the strength of each of the five branches of the United States Armed Forces.
As such, the Museum's primary building hovers 40 feet above ground, supported by five concrete mega columns, each representing a branch of our Armed Forces.
Vinoly's immersive and open design connects us to each hero, each other, and the world beyond.
Crafted of solid brass with an electro-plated non-tarnishing silver finish, our bookmark measures approximately 1.1" W x 3.8" L.
Finished with a royal blue tassel, it is packaged in a recycled PETE Plastic Sleeve.
Made in the USA.
